In a late-seeded round, Belarusian startup VOCHI raised an additional $2.4M from investors including Angelsdeck and A.Partners, TA Ventures, Kolos VC, Startup Wise Guys, as well as top-managers Verv and Bolt. Prior to that, Genesis Investments invested $1.5M in the project last year.

VOCHI is a mobile photo and video editor powered by computer vision. Using the latter, the app analyses content and applies effects to necessary parts, such as moving objects only. More than half of VOCHI’s features are available for free, but there is also advanced functionality for professionals available with a paid subscription. The company reports that the number of paid subscribers is growing by 20% month on month.

Today, the application is used by more than 500 000 people monthly; its audience is global: VOCHI was recognized as App of the Day by AppStore in 126 countries in April 2021. The company’s revenues reached $4M for the year. The team will use the funds raised to expand, market and improve the product.
